Now in My Bookbag: Emmitt's Treasure (a Companion Novel to the Judgement of the Six Series), by Melissa Haag

How does author Melissa Haag enhance her incomparable Judgement of the Six Series? She writes a companion series told from the men’s POVs.

Just as Clay’s Hope adds extraordinary new layers to Hope(less), Emmitt’s Treasure adds so much more to (Mis)Fortune. Getting inside Emmitt’s head creates a complete understanding of his relationship with Michelle. Her story alone simply can not convey the depth of feeling in his connection to her.

Emmitt is completely swoon worthy. He is sweet, caring, and very protective, (also a veteran). He loves Michelle, and accepts her little brothers as his own. Haag also provides a wonderful view of the relationship between Emmitt and his hilarious brother, Jim.
This book is an enjoyable read, and I recommend it. 4 1/2 stars

Your Introduction to Judgement of the Six, by Melissa Haag

Hope(less) is the first book in the Judgement of the Six Series, by Melissa Haag. It is currently FREE on Amazon, so it is the perfect time to get started!
HOPE-LESS COVERGabby’s brain is like a human fish finder. It comes in handy when she wants to avoid people. Mostly men. They seem to like her a bit too much. It’s lonely being different, but she’s adapted to it. Really. She just wishes she knew why she is different, though.
In her search for answers, she discovers a hidden community of werewolves. She immerses herself in their culture, learning about their world until she meets Clay. He’s unkempt, prone to mood swings, intense without saying a word, and he thinks Gabby is his.
It’s going to take every trick she knows to convince Clay to go away, and every bit of willpower not to fall for him when she discovers the man beneath the rough exterior.
Delve into a riveting world of werewolves and young women with unexplained abilities, in Hope(less).

“I could not put this book down for a second, it was simply wonderful!” – Vanessa Vendrasco-Aere author of yabookbutterfly.blogspot.ca

From my original review:
“This is not your typical book about werewolves. It is a fresh, original, unique spin on a subject that has been told over and over. I can’t wait to read Book #2!” – Karen Metcalf, author of My Bookbag

Now in My Bookbag: (Dis)Content by Melissa Haag (Judgement of the Six #5)

(Dis)Content exemplifies the extraordinary storytelling that I have come to expect from author Melissa Haag. Each of her Judgement characters are so different, yet Haag can understand them all, and bring them to life.
Isabelle’s character isn’t always easy to like. I love the way that Haag develops Isabelle throughout the story, adding layers of her past and present, creating a complex and detailed character.
I can honestly say that there is a part of this book that makes me “ugly cry.” I think that, no matter how many times I read this part, I will still “ugly cry.” I can also say that the tears are worth it because they are born of an episode that (I believe) will help the 6 in the end.
This is the type of emotional rollercoaster I love to ride, masterfully built with twists, turns and vertical drops. This is a 5 star book.
I was given an Arc of (Dis)Content for an honest review.
