End Game is suspenseful, dark and disturbing. It is very graphic and not for readers who are faint of heart. Jake is devious and scary. As a psychological thriller, it certainly hits its mark. Without revealing spoilers, it is difficult to truly express the feelings conjured by this novella. It is more than obvious that Bond and Brownell successfully evoke the feelings intended. They do a really good job developing Jake’s character even further. The lasting result? it’s a story that will bore into your psyche and stay there.
